IstanbulHagia Sophia Skip-the-Line Tickets: How Entry Works Today
Dernière mise à jour : janvier 2026
The Hagia Sophia is one of Istanbul most visited landmarks. Since it reopened as an active mosque, the entry system has changed significantly. “Skip-the-line” does not mean what many travelers expect. This guide explains exactly how access works today, what you can and cannot skip, and when a ticket actually makes sense.
What skip-the-line means at Hagia Sophia
Skip-the-line tickets for Hagia Sophia provide priority access to the paid visitor section, not unrestricted fast entry to the entire building.
- You éviter la file d'attente pour l'achat de billets
- You use the designated tourist entrance
- You still pass through mandatory security screening
Security checks are required for everyone and are never skipped.
Avez-vous vraiment besoin de billets "sans file d'attente" ?
It depends on how and when you visit.
- Haute saison (avril-octobre) : Yes. Ticket queues can exceed 45–60 minutes.
- Midday visits: Yes. This is the busiest period.

Dernier conseil
