Información general Park Güell Barcelona
The Park Güell, a renowned landmark in Barcelona, is comprised of two distinct areas: the Monumental Zone and the Free Zone. While the Monumental Zone houses the most iconic features of the park, the Free Zone offers a more tranquil, garden-like experience.
Renowned architect Antoni Gaudí designed Park Güell in the modernist style. This sprawling park, spanning over 17 hectares, is situated on a hill, featuring multiple levels. As you approach the park, you’ll immediately notice two houses, characteristic of Gaudí’s architectural style. Originally intended as a reception and concierge area, these houses now serve as the entrance to the park.
Tip: there are useful free phone guides available in the Apple Store and on Google Play.
